Everest Energy Partners — Global Edge Platform Migration
This case study demonstrates the engineering of a full re-platform for Everest Energy Partners, a private energy investment firm, migrating its site from a static build onto Next.js and deploying it across Cloudflare's global edge network. Pages now render from 300+ locations worldwide instead of a single origin server, and every scroll and reveal animation was rebuilt from scratch to preserve the feel of the original design without a single pixel of drift.
The migration's hardest problem lived behind the scenes: the edge runtime doesn't support standard Node networking, so a transactional email pipeline had to be engineered from the ground up to keep the site's messaging working at the edge. The complete technical implementation highlights precision design-parity work and edge-runtime engineering under real infrastructure constraints, tailored for a firm where the site itself is part of the pitch.
