Robo IMS — School Device & Robotics Inventory Platform
This case study demonstrates the engineering of Robo IMS, an equipment-lending platform built for Little Angels School's device and robotics inventory. Built using Next.js, MongoDB, React Table, and Recharts, the system gives students and teachers their own registry, routes gear through a full issue/return workflow with automatic overdue tracking, and ties every checkout to a class project.
Key innovations include a built-in damage-report flow that logs broken equipment against whoever last held it, alongside trend reporting on usage, overdue rates, and damage over time. The complete technical implementation highlights real-time inventory reconciliation and reporting depth built for a school admin's actual needs, not a spreadsheet replacement.
